Chiaroscuro

It was one of those days - sometimes fair, and bright sometimes - well - you can see the photo. It was the same for my mood too though I can't really identify why I felt grumpy - though an email didn't help nor did Asda not having the very items I went there for in the super cold weather.  This evening was much better though. Bro called for a cuppa after work, and then later Maddy and I got a Chinese takeaway and spent the evening eating and gossiping - just the two of us. As well as studying at uni, my niece is a part time carer working for an agency which she loves doing.  I'm so proud of her and the work she does, helping the elderly and sick who are housebound. Thank goodness for people like her in this world bringing comfort where it is much needed and light where there has been dark.
