....to Judith.
It was such a sad day, but it all went according to plan.
Standing room only in the crematorium.
Dave H read 1 Corinthians 13 in Scots with incredible control, and my wife, Liz read 'Life goes on' by Joyce Grenfell - I was so proud that she managed to hold it together.
I was just a sobbing mess by this time, and the Eulogy just finished me off.
Judith would have thought it was too much fuss, but everyone was there to remember what a lovely caring and generous person she was.

Life Goes On

If I should go before the rest of you
Break not a flower nor inscribe a stone
Nor when i'm gone speak in a Sunday voice
But be the usual selves that I have known.
Weep if you must,
Parting is hell,
But life goes on,
So sing, as well.
