Almost

I almost blipped a littered crisp bag.  The best before date in 2006.  Plastic. Presumably blowing about the countryside for over 15 years and not at all degraded. It has now been put in a bin, presumably to be added to countless others and left, not degraded for decades.  How easily we look away and choose to see the beauty instead.  Who discarded it and walked away.  Who has walked by it before today. Was I among them.  How many times have I not seen it.  I've added it as an extra.
