Male Mallard

Its raining allot. I know its not really a good reason not to go out taking pictures but i didnt really feel like going to a bird spot, which might be empty, in rain and end up with nothing. Atleast not today. So i settled with going to pond nearby.

Shudnt be to long untill the ducklings comes along.

Some facts: They form couples during autumn and usually lays between 9-13 eggs.

They can also get really old and i know in sweden one have noticed ducks older then 25 years. Althou the avarge is more about 7 years.
