Latkes = Blip

What can I say?  I like to make latkes for Hannukah, not sure why...I'm not Jewish.  So the latkes are late.
I remembered to do my  blip too late in the day...I'm not sure why,..Just was busy-ish. So the blip is late.  
Hence,  algebraically speaking
if latkes = late and blip = late,
then, latkes = blip.
