New Beginnings

Today is the 9th anniversary of Mono Monday. Well, I couldn’t find anything with nine and had to settle for this mono shot of a watery, foggy shot of the Wallace monument .
 
Back to the gym this afternoon and sure enough we had a surge of new members full of New Year resolutions. 
 
 I feel like an old hand and I couldn’t resist telling one newcomer that only two of us remain in the group from pre-Covid days.  (Have you noticed how we have taken to referring to the past few years as pre- and post Covid days?). 
 
Why did we loose so many members after Covid?  partly because everything went digital and those who did not have smartphones or access to a computer could no longer ring up and book classes. 
 
So fear of technology caused a whole swathe of older people to drop out who otherwise might have re-joined the Peak Sports Centre after Covid, which is very unfortunate.
