Bathsheba
This morning we hired a taxi to take us all around the top of the island and down the east coast to a beautiful little spot called Bathsheba where we ate grilled fish and macaroni pie / rice and peas, at Dina’s on the beach.
The driver left us there and we pottered around and sat on the beach. This is the Atlantic and the waves are much rougher and more spectacular than the west coast.
We caught a bus back to Speightstown where we looked around the food stalls and then tried to fathom out which of the many buses was going our way. The buses are great but it’s tricky trying to find out which one you want.
The photo is of the palm trees the sea and some brightly coloured towels a couple of local ladies were selling. A bit big and heavy for us unfortunately.
Extra another palm tree , the rocks off the beach, a fruit stall in Speightstown and picking Cassava in the sunshine
