Penguin Chat....

My first trip of the year to Peak Wildlife Park. The weather was a bit grim and some of the inmates took a little coaxing to come and join us.

Not so the penguins. Here's one of the keepers with their second feed of the day. It was lovely to see her as she's only part time due to her own family commitments and I hadn't seen her since her before the pandemic lockdowns.

Due to the prevalence of Avian Flu she's also sporting a beautiful rubber boiler suit to protect the penguins.
