Fish dish

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Bit late in posting this but today was the start of a new year... We didn't do anything special on new year's eve, but we went to my mother-in-law's for lunch on new year's day instead.

Today's back blip is a fish dish. It's a circle of puff pastry onto which has been placed some fish product - one quarter one flavour and one quarter another. The pastry is then folded to create a semicircular sandwich. Using a knife ribbons are cut from the centre and twisted, then the whole thing is baked until crisp and golden. You tear it off from the centre and it gives you a fishy flavours pastry stick. It was visually quite impressive and tasted very good too.
