Vinhas Dam

After a few jobs, headed off for a walk at the Vinhas Lake, formed by a small dam above the much larger and newer Alqueva Lake - the eucalyptus tree in the middle of the horizon is growing out of the dam.

The rock Mike is standing on reminded him of a ditty his brother's friend taught him, which ends:
All the seagulls have a lighthouse
And they use it as a shitehouse,
Now the lighthouse is a whitehouse in Mobile.

Gratefuls:
- getting into a new way of reading the Bible in a year, listening to it on a podcast; so different, but think it will be a good experience
- seeing a whole load of cormorants, herons, and turtles
- wild asparagus off our Land in our eggs at lunchtime
