Lake Opuha

I decided to take my sad friend for an outing so packed a picnic and took her driving in the country.  Went up through the area where her family farm had been where the country side was looking beautiful after our wet spring. Farmers certainly getting plenty of silage and baleage down for the coming winters feed. 
Carried on driving through unfamiliar roads til we came to Lake Opuha. We had our picnic while watching a few boaties and paddle boarders enjoying the lake
By the time we got home had done over 100 kms on a round trip  and given my friend something else to think about.
