Sun after rain

Woke up suddenly at 4.45 and had pain in my chest so got up to walk around a bit and get some water! I think the antibiotics are making me a head case! Normal Sunday service still not resumed so didn’t make it to church today at all! Coughing seems to be a little better so very grateful for that.

Went for a walk to see how it would go and I watched a naval ship leave and walked through the hail down to the end by the barracks! Always have to touch the gates! As I turned round to walk back the sun made its reappearance.

Walked back and along to the William yard and down the steps thinking it might be a good idea to get some food! Wagamamas found me a table in the corner away from other people and I had mini chicken ramen followed by chocolate and cherry icecream! A veritable feast with a side of Edna O’Brien In thd Forest which was a gift from Sian!

Just as I finished Ian and Sian came by with the dogs so we walked back together! Back over the steps and along the front which is always a joy but I was very tired when I got back. Ian has had his chemo stopped for good so now it is a wait for scans and then surgery so the whole process will be much quicker! That being the case they are going to wales to visit her family and then to Bournemouth to visit his family which is very positive!
