Celtic art and methods of construction.

This book was written by George Bain who studied Celtic art and worked out ways of drawing the patterns.  Most of the patterns are taken from the Lindisfarne Gospels and the book of Kells. 
My daughter gave me the book for Christmas.  
I visited a place in Scotland called Whithorn which has a lot of early Celtic art and religious artefacts. I also went to see the Lindisfarne Gospels in the Laing Art gallery in Newcastle upon Tyne.
