It was technically a non-working day today, but there was still a good full working day's worth of stuff to be done. I then spent another working day's worth of time getting most of the top layer of tiles off the south wall of the bathroom, discovering a second layer of original tiles up to sternum-height and some 1938 plaster with the consistency of wet bogroll at the top. The original 1938 wall also came with a wall-mounted light switch.
