Spurs trip

5 hours driving, and over an hour on the bus; it's only ever a rare treat for the little man.
But it was worth it, especially as Tottenham beat Portsmouth 1-0 (which of course they should).

I was rather anxious to say the least, travelling to the stadium. The digital ticketing system is great in theory, but not so great if the tech doesn't work (as it didn't in this case). Fortunately it was quite straightforward to get the tickets printed on arrival. But as they offer no telephone support, I didn't discover this until we got there.

We've been to the Tottenham stadium before, but not a capacity crowd. It's a very impressive arena and the level of excitement and noise can't be conveyed fully in TV coverage. Nevertheless, we've no immediate plans to be doing the journey every week!
