Rainbow's End

Yet another very wet mid winter's day, discouraged staying outside for any great length of time.  I did manage to fit in an hours potter across the very muddy fields towards late afternoon though, during which I only got rained on twice...  

I watched a female kestrel for a while, but she was too far away and the light too poor to be able to get a decent shot of her. 

Instead, here is a shot of the rainbow's end where it met the hills to the north - needless to say, it was raining when I took this.  I wonder if the lucky owner of the white cottage managed to find the leprechaun's pot of gold before the rainbow disappeared?
