Magic Finger

Orla and Dad witnessed an awesome moonrise walking up the Zoar Road on the way back from RCS this afternoon. Earlier, the 4:30 train from Glasgow was cancelled, which gave them time to kill. Walking round the Christmas fun-fair in George Square, still in full swing, was a good use of the extra 15 minutes. Orla got some chips.

Meanwhile, Conor had been busy building in Minecraft, preparing a battlefield with towers for a game of Minecraft Melee. This subsequently turned into a game of the old game of 'Versus', which Orla inevitably dominated.

The first Saturday in January does always seem to be focused on fun and games. 

Mum enjoyed using up the leftover cheese from Ian Mellis, baking some Gruyere and shallot stuffed rolls and some Stilton puffs for dinner. We watched the first episode of The Masked Singer, recorded from New Year's Day and for the first time some of 'That's My Jam' with Mo Gilligan (it was brilliant!)
