Another train journey ending up in Windsor instead of Ascot. Another plea for a lift, from Steve this time, instead of accepting a longer and hillier journey on my bike in the rain.

Safely home and a bit earlier this time.

This time the disruption was due to a more serious cause than a tree on the line. Such a shame. My own discomfort is clearly in perspective as a minor hiccup on a journey home. We are all safe and well.
