Nero Breakfast

With Tabou closed for their hols it was Nero for the coffee and croissant. Hmm, the almond was not good, undercooked and doughy. Nothing like our favourite French place. Sloppy really. How difficult is it to heat up the pastries.

Mum needed new sheets so went to m and S as she had the Covid survey vouchers to use. Her cough has improved so much but has still lost the energy levels. We had a variety of topics discussed. The main one being the social care problems as her friend works as a social worker for the elderly and the situation is dire - not enough staff and very poorly paid. She is working all hours and is so stressed.

Went a long walk this afternoon as the weather was good. Most steps for ages 13.5.
