Kessock Bridge was closed to traffic for several hours tonight, and supposedly also closed for a while during the day. Both occasions for unfortunate folk threatening to jump from the bridge. In the above, the North Kessock lifeboat crew are putting away their boat after being on standby during the incident. The bridge was reopened (again) a short while after this was taken.

Haven't mentioned it previously, but over the past year there have sadly been such incidents on an increasingly regular basis. Probably more over the last year than in all the other years combined, since it opened, in about 1983.
