Well timed walk

We're quite slow to get started in a morning at the moment.  So it was nearly lunchtime by the time we got out for a walk.  

This was the first photo I took, and it's had to compete with a variety of other photos, but I liked the shadows from the trees on this rather attractive old building.  And the blue sky didn't last much longer.  The weather even at this point was cold, with a very sharp wind.

The sky got increasingly threatening whilst we were walking, and shortly after we got home, as we were sitting in the kitchen eating our late lunch, it started to rain.  We've had hail, and some thunder during the later part of the day.

I did a bit more sewing, because there really isn't anything more pressing to get on with.
