After lunch I was sat at the table reading the newspaper when I heard a thump on the patio doors followed by a flurry of wings.

Fortunately my camera was handy to fire off 4 shots before the male sparrow hawk regained his composure and flew off!

A failed hunting foray? Does he looked stunned or disappointed?
