Silly supper

The rain was biblical this morning, our flower beds and path were awash in the front garden. We’ve been here nearly 40 years and I don’t think that used to happen until a couple of years ago. We needed lights on in the house fir most of the morning. 
The sun came out at about midday and it’s a bright blue skied afternoon now!

I thought this sign outside the village butcher’s was quite suitable for the first silly Saturday of the new year. Not sure if we will be having haggis this year I’ve just booked my train to Bath on the 25th, maybe I will have it there as I know Grace and John like their haggis, we've had it with them in Scotland.
