Fooled by minimalism

Clearing out the Christmas cards, I came across this example of hand-made minimalist festiveness. For a couple of minutes I marvelled at the bleak whiteness, punctuated by a single column of expressive beauty... and then I realised it was just a piece of sellotape and the decoration had fallen on the floor. What a fool.
