One Street: Moving Along

The last time you saw this key corner on my One Street, nearly a month ago, the tree was bare, the new building was covered in scaffolding, and pedestrians did not have it easy.

Today it was a pleasure to walk on the widened sidewalk (UK pavement) and admire the building's scaffold-free exterior, as the work now is to finish the interior.

There's less than two weeks until the giant all-day party in Fairhaven to celebrate the end of the annual Ski to Sea relay race (seven different sports, 90+ mile relay, 4,000 racers, and crowds to cheer them on), so I expect that the pressure is on to have the building's occupants -- Rocket Donuts and Fat Pie Pizza Restaurant -- open and ready for business in time!
