It's getting deep!

Looks really soft unless viewed large

Drove to the far end of Bassenthwaite Lake (the rain seemed less heavy towards Cockermouth) and spent a happy hour and a half wading (in the wellies) along the shoreline. Took everything there with a big stopper to give me 30 second exposures, which resulted in smooth water. I do love the simplicity it gives in an otherwise complex photo.

Was surprised to see quite a few swimmers up there - four in wet suits, but three in costumes / shorts; the water was only three degrees!
