Laughing in the face of the 30s...

Today was my 30th!!! I didn't take a single picture, but my godmother, lovingSutton, took lots on my behalf! it was a relaxed day, we had a cream tea with the french family - they presented me with a birthday cake and sang 'I'm a lonely little petunia in an onion patch' instead of 'happy birthday', as you do! When my Dad was first visiting my Mom in France, her 5 younger siblings used to make him sing it over and over, so it has significance!
Had a BBQ (grill) in the pub across the road from us - loads of wonderful people from my past and present, family and friends all came to help me celebrate. A night to remember. Being 30 has been fun so far!
