Burning no more

The Bing at the far side of the recreation field had notices at every path saying that the Bing was still on fire, I first came across this when I moved to Gorebridge in 2015. Since then, the fire has been put out.
The burning Bing was one of the features of a composition of Hazel Hewit for the Gorebridge Community choir, the premiere was in June 2022. 
I wanted to be able to put a link, but was unable to make the link behave. Should anyone be interested to hear it on YouTube,  search for ‘The starlings whispers o’erhead’ should oblige. Not only is there the performance but also a comment by Hazel Hewitt about the approach to the composition.
 I was in the audience, bottom right, grey haired.
