From the new to the old

The weather in Edinburgh today has been as unpredictable as an unpredictable thing in the land of unpredictable so it was with some trepidation I headed out this evening to try and capture an image of the fast moving clouds rushing toward me around one of the recognisable Edinburgh monuments. Predictably, the clouds didn't play ball so I had to find a different angle for a shot.

The Princes Street Gardens mark the distinction between the New Town in the salubrious North with the Old Town in the poorer relationed South and I found this interesting transition from the new to the old using the feature entrance of the Princes Mall.
