Still Flying High.

Despite last night’s blustery weather the old Southern Cross is snapping out bravely. This is our third flag in the last fifteen plus years. The previous incumbents of the flagstaff have been carefully folded and retired to a drawer in the man-cave/garage.
I actually got out of bed after midnight to go outside and “rescue” our bins to stop them being blown over and the contents scattered everywhere. At least it wasn’t raining at the time.
Today’s extra is MaggieD and Miss E at the Coffee Shop for lunch today. They do some great soups but I opted for a ham & chutney panini today.
