Something different

Australia’s a nation of surfers not skaters, in fact most of us wouldn’t know how to put the skates on. Today we had 5 grandchildren to entertain for the day so isbi came up with the idea of trying out the new ice rink at Leura.
Here’s Adelaide on the ice with her penguin. Northern hemisphere blippers born with skates on their feet have never needed a penguin but it’s the equivalent of trainer wheels on your bike or the magic carpet for first-time skiers.
They all loved it and apart from a few bruises, have been returned unscathed to their parents.
