Thirty years ago….

Had to take car to garage today as exhaust heat shield had worked loose.

Went for a wander while I waited and found myself at the bottom of Johnston Terrace, where I realised that thirty years ago I positioned myself in this bus stop after driving down the road and noticing someone attempting to break in to a parked people carrier.

Shortly after, down the road he waddled carrying two large cases. Having dealt with him before, he made a run for it as soon as he saw me. Down the footpath to king stables road where he tried to stab me, before running into the Castle Terrace car park where he was somewhat unsurprisingly arrested and 20k of jewellery belonging to American tourists was recovered.

Seems like yesterday!
