Twelfth Night in Santolaya

The arrival of the three kings, in Spanish "los reyes magos", is a major event in Spain, now losing ground relative to Christmas but to many people still equally important. The village was full tonight - the bars overflowing and the main plaza full of families with young children. The photo shows people outside Patricia´s bar and on the edge of the plaza. All the children in the concejo will go up to collect a small present from a "king". It´s a magic night for the little ones. The photo doesn´t convey the atmosphere too well but the others I took were worse...
