Barbarazweig

Almost two weeks too late my Barbarazweig started to bloom.
As the tradition asks, the twig was cut from a cherry tree on 4. December, Barbaratag, and was supposed to bloom at Christmas.

It looks very pretty and I hope more buds will open.
Next December I will lay it in warm water for one night before it goes in a vase for a perhaps better timing.
