Kindness

I absolutely love the bond that these pair have. Xander looks out for the jedi a lot. He's protective of him and shows such kindness to him when he's upset. I wonder if it's because they both have special powers.  The jedi was upset because his mask wouldn't sit well.  

We planned to go out with friends today , got all the bikes out and the waterproofs on and it was absolutely chucking it down. We were soaked within 5 minutes and the kids all wanted to go to dalscone instead.  I never go during the afternoon in the holidays as its always so busy.  I tend to go first thing.  Anyway we went and we were the last ones they let in as they were at capacity. It was heaving and we couldn't get a seat to begin with.  I felt quite stressed looking out for the jedi but the wildlings and their friends kept a eye on him in the play area. It calmed a little in numbers after a hour or so  which was good. 

It's been a struggle keeping Harp and Xander awake this afternoon.  Hopefully they all sleep early tonight.  

My sleepeaze tablets worked better than a painkiller last night.  I woke once and had a good stretch and then went back over until near 5am. I did need a couple paracetamol,  but it felt great getting a better sleep. 

Mr R is on his way back from Aberdeen.  Its been a long day for him driving.  The weather up that way was quite foggy for a while , and some of the back roads slippy.  

Oh Harps wee plant in her planter is a fake one. I can't keep plants alive . They come to this house to die. I am literally the worst person ever with plants . Thankfully I can keep wildlings happy.
