Cottage in the fields

I have blipped this cottage before but in the summer months.  It is completely surrounded by fields and one has to drive through two with gates, and sometimes cows, to reach it.  It lies right above the village which is tucked tightly into the bottom of the valley behind.

Enjoyed the walk today bumping into several people I know along the way.
Then the family and I went down to the local pub for lunch and on the way back I noticed on a high bank several daffodils in flower - I thought yesterday's with tight buds were advanced.

Some sheep were out grazing on the hill beyond (extra photo) but there is not much nutrition in the grass yet although they eat anything.
