Baby Shower.

My first thought when I saw this display in the local balloon emporium (does everybody have one of these?) was that I needed to buy a heavy duty umbrella.

Having Googled "Baby Shower" I am a little bit, and only a little bit, wiser. I'm a mere male and so don't understand much about the topic but it seems to be a cross between a Tupperware party and an Ann Summers party.
Refreshments, on such occasions, seem to centre around a "nappy cake" which does sound to be a bit on the chewy side.

If, by any chance, I misunderstand the situation, I'm sure that there are plenty of people out there who will put me right.
