Alert…. What was that noise?

Marigold has totally taken over my bed. She has been washing herself for ages. A “Calico Cat” her coat comprises of three different patches of colour. They are white, dark cream and smoke. When seen from a distance the colour on most of the top of her head looks like black. But if you part the fur on her head you will see a shade of silvery grey…… “Smoke”.
She is the most affectionate cat I have ever owned.
