First night of the tour

Went to see the Manics in Glasgow.

They played two sets, the first being the new record "Journal for Plague Lovers", the second set being "some favourites".

As usual The Barras gave the gig its usual "lift" that you just don't get in other venues.

Nice.

Oh...there was a thank-you from the stage directed at Jenny Saville, the artist who painted the cover that you can just about see in the photo. Verious people who are offended by reality (or combined with a painter's style) have complained that they find it offensive.
