And they’re down

The Christmas decorations are now all down and as always the house looks really bare….and dusty!! We’ve already found the one decoration which always seems to get forgotten, a Christmas nibble tray. The snowflakes were plain wooden ones off Amazon which we painstakingly coloured with acrylic pens.
Dinner tonight was a first for us, a gammon joint cooked in the slow cooker. Can highly recommend, the meat was so tender. We usually only do casseroles and curries in the slow cooker but I’m told it’s more economical than using the oven so we gave it a go.
