Road to Reno

The original plan was to get our daughter at SJ airport and all drive to Reno together....yesterday.  The plane was late and the weather was stormy and we did not want to drive over the Sierras in the dark, in the snow.  So we spent the night in Auburn and were rewarded with a winter wonderland on our drive over the Sierras today.  Traffic was  still slow and chains were required (but not for C's AWD Honda CRV), but the storm passed and it was daylight.
