Bikechef Blips

Cumbernauld to Inverness Day 1

Set off on my bike today on a day of contrasts - brilliant sunshine with heavy showers. But only got soaked the once, despite the forecast sounding much worse. 90% of the cycle was sunshine.

The Blip here is of a residence called Plane Castle. Located on the edge of the Bannockburn Battlefield near Stirling, and apparently run as a holiday let. National Cycle Route 76 runs right by it. However on this occasion the sun didn't come out until I was well past it so I thought a shot of it with the furrowed field would be good.

Tomorrow is Callander to Kenmore, and hoping to Blip some Wild Haggis as I'll be ascending into the Highlands!
