Commotion of Coots

One of the things I want to get back to this year is my little Commotion of Coots* podcast. It’s just a 6-8 minute long, coffee-break-friendly thing, looking at the history, myths, legends and literature references (there’s always a poem) of certain species of wildlife. 

I love doing the research for this, so going to try and get into the habit of recording on a Sunday night to go live each Monday. Tonight was finishing up a piece in Barn Owls. 

Also means I’m working on my ‘Read More’ and ‘Write More’ hopes for the year (there’s also Draw More and a few others, all aimed at Stress Less).

*A Commotion is the collective noun for Coots, and I just love the alliteration of it.
