SOCIETY OF SCOTTISH ARTISTS

A busy morning preparing for the term ahead, reviewing and planning mainly. 
 After lunch we set off for town for a guided tour of the 130th Exhibition of the SSA.  It was an inspiring and excellent exhibition with work from degree shows, and entered art work which had been carefully selected. The work was all for sale.  And there were also many 30x30 pieces for sale in the shop for reasonable prices.  We were keen to attend this year as one of our Orkney friends who gained a first in her degree  was chosen to have her art displayed.
I must also pay a huge compliment to our guide who brought the pictures to life for us.
We had decided to run back home which worked well as we had planned a good route.
This is the last evening of the holiday, but it has been restful and productive time
