Farewells

Tom and I had a nice breakfast followed by a dog walk in Bagley Woods just as the sun was breaking through the clouds. Juno was bouncing around happy as could be. He left for London at midday and after seeing him off I returned to a house that felt very empty. Usually I plan something for after they’ve left but hadn’t today so I went out again for another long dog walk and later my neighbour popped over for a Campari which helped me get in a better frame of mind. Back to work tomorrow.
