I’ve not got a hairy grandchild staying! This is one of Luce’s wet weather coats which is hopefully going to be dry by the morning.

A grey wet day with the only highlight being a good bargain in Waitrose being a kilo of cooked ham for £5.49 reduced from £25! I feel some chicken and ham pies coming on for the freezer!

Tomorrow I shall go out on a new wellington boot hunt at Mole Valley Farmers.
