A long night
We have a wonderful night at Em’s. It’s a wonder the neighbours don’t complain, because the music and dancing continues for hours.
Vicky, Kerry and I walk home at seven in the morning - thankfully still dark. A brief breakfast of hoisin duck wraps and straight to bed.
Midday, Megan rings. I collect her from Portobello Town Hall. She has an early night, but the rest of us are feeling the worse for wear. Eventually, we reach escape velocity and drive back to Earlston.
A bit of cauliflower cheese and a rerun of the Glass Onion - which Kerry and I both sleep through.
