Highwire Earmuffs, East Malling

Went for a longer walk than we meant to this morning but we were determined to keep going until we each got an image. The route involved going along one very narrow public footpath which (see first extra) was so narrow that it was practically single file all the way until it opened out on to some woodland. The main image was taken at East Malling Research Centre. They have just sold off some of their land for yet more housing but it means they have been able to invest in new infrastructure like the huge greenhouse behind the wire. The second extra is of this rather magnificent tree that seems to have been partially claimed by a parasitic plant which I think is mistletoe. It certainly made for a striking sight when it came into view.
