Trip into Taunton - lots to do - busy, busy!

Jobs done and feeling tired, I popped into the church of St Mary Magdalene for a welcome moment of quiet reflection on my way back to the car park.

Entering through the west door, I passed through a pair of glass doors etched with these stunning angels.

Apparently, these were installed in 2008 to commemorate 700 years as the parish church of Taunton.

I left the church with a welcome sense of peace and serenity, grateful for the opportunity to pause for a while before the journey home.
