An exciting Twinsday

Lex had gotten a large toy crane truck for the twins and it was love at first sight.  They played with it constantly, manipulating every part of it repeatedly.  When I was with them, they insisted that I keep raising and lowering both the crane and the line.  In the photo you see Sam putting the crane through its paces.  Max staged a few "accidents" where the crane just fell over on its side but somehow was miraculously able to rise again, just to fall again.  He also let me read with him for a while; we got through ten whole pages of the construction vehicle ABC book before he decided he'd read the rest with Baba.  Max spent some time reading on Manda's lap in their new book about dragons.  Sarah and Nick are away, taking a last little trip before the baby comes, so Charlie was visiting.  He's starting to show his age, but he had a great time ripping his bed to pieces and pulling out all the stuffing.

Tomorrow it's back to physical therapy, then a quiet week.
